scrapbook

These works are special for me. They grow out of discarded musical ideas, failed attempts, found gestures, forgotten excerpts. Over the years I have accumulated hundreds of these ideas and they continue to grow. Every once in while I look at the box of scraps and suddenly I try a new way out for them to exist as pieces. They are also a great way to balance my somewhat algorithmic thinking and add some randomness or playful mischief into my works.
