In the fall of 2023 myself Andrea Young and Pam Reimer will be premiering uno. It will consist of many short pieces arranged in a mosaic like form. Without a particular theme or narrative this mosaic will create its own structure and coherence.

Using many scores and scripts as a creative map to a variety of interpretations and performances. The scripts and scores can be adapted and mixed in a variety of ways. The idea is to explore and experiment in a collaboratively creative approach to craft a new symbiotic work using of a common abstract object (i.e. the script and the score) in order to simultaneously create through different mediums, a combined work, which will only come together as a collaboration.

The process favours the emergence of a work through mutual learning, improvisation and trial and error. It also favours a bottom-up approach and flat structure in which open creative ideas between participants can productively flourish. The composer or creator is an equal partner in the sonorous or visual or movement or combined realization of a work.
